We look for good communicators when we hire because a lot of our work depends on communication in order for it to be done correctly and on time. If you don’t have good communication skills with your co-workers you might cause costly mistakes.

Our customers rely on us to have our tests done on time. We like to promote our company to them and make good relationships between us and our customers. If we don’t communicate with them we will probably lose them to our competitors.

We give tours almost daily to new prospect customers. We want them to see that we have a good atmosphere in our facility and we want them to see that we deserve their business.

-Summary-

Chad Hart is a grain and marketing specialist and an economist and he estimates that because of the way the weather and the average time of planting this year are exactly like last year’s the crops will have the same outcome as last year. In other words, the corn and soybean yields will be large because we’ve had many growing days this year and somewhat timely rains. This means that the prices will be down again, just like last year because of high availability of corn.

-Statements Used-

I think that this article uses a lot of inferences because he is only estimating what is going to happen to the corn yields from what he knows of last year’s turnout. 

-Evaluation-

I think that his statements are very effective because his first statement seems very believeable and truthful.

 ”This summer is closing out much like last summer for crops. The early-season concern about delayed planting and crop progress is fading under steady doses of sunshine and timely rains. And with crop conditions holding, crop production is up and prices have worked their way down,” (Hart)

The only part that I would second guess him about would be the fact that he is predicting outcomes, and of course he doesnt really know what is going to happen. He uses “… is projected” and “prices tend to be…” . But someone has to predict these type of things and who better than him?
